Job description

Responsibilities

• Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects
• Reconciliation of projects related general ledger accounts for monthly and yearly closing
• Reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
• Variance analysis of project related general ledger accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
• Prepares, monitors and manages quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects
• Business partner to commercial units on project related finance matters
• Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal controls
• Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
• Supports internal and external audit activities and addresses risk management
• Any other ad-hoc matters determined by the supervisors

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting standards (particularly on projecting accounting) and SAP Financial knowledge is required
• Experience in the engineering, construction, oil & gas or energy industry or exposure in big 4 auditing firms would be a strong advantage
• Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
