Job Description
The candidate works closely with the research grant administration team to manage internally funded and externally funded research grants from government agencies and industries that are tied to the Trustworthy and Secure Software (TSS)@NUS research group. The candidate will receive training and the opportunity to carry out assignments in the following areas:
- Act as the primary liaison in the preparation and submission of project proposals, agreements, budget plans and reports.
- Administer research project accounts and reconcile accounts statements.
- Monitor the research project funds utilization and provide periodic updates.
- Coordinate with grantors, track the receipt of funds, prepare documents for audit and process payments and claims.
- Coordinate the re-appointments of research staff and the engagement of students.
- Liaise with researchers and vendors on the procurement of goods and services.
- Serve as secretariat for meetings and prepare presentation material.
- Coordinate the publicity and logistics preparation for conferences and workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Polytechnic Diploma with work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Analytical, numerate, resourceful and energetic.
- Able to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong sense of customer service.
Employment type: 2-year contract, subject to renewal.
