Chemical Process Technician (Office Hours)

Job Description:

• Working Hours: Weekdays, 8am to 4:30pm
• Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport from Jurong East MRT)
• Basic Salary: $2200 - $2500

Perform daily operations for heat treatment units, support shift teams during grade change maintenance (GCM) activities, and ensure operations meet safety, quality, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the heat treatment unit, ensuring adherence to production plans and quality standards.
• Lead and support GCM transition activities, ensuring cleaning tasks meet company operational standards before maintenance handover.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, contractors, and coordinators to address and resolve operational issues.
• Assist shift teams with operations including off-spec PVA blending, chemical loading/unloading, chemical preparation, and GCM cleaning.
• Report all activities to shift and day supervisors, ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Our Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Process Technician in the chemical industry.
