A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations. The role involves preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes.
2. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with SFRS (Singapore Financial Reporting Standards).
3. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process across departments.
4. Ensure compliance with tax, GST, and regulatory requirements as per IRAS and ACRA guidelines.
5. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk exposure.
6. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies during audits or statutory filings.
7. Review and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures.
8. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions and business growth.
9. Supervise and mentor junior finance staff as needed.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
3. Solid knowledge of Singapore financial regulations, tax, and reporting standards.
4. Advanced Excel skills and proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero, QuickBooks) .
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
6. Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Mandarin is a MUST, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders or counterparts.
