Head of Business Development APAC - Singapore

We are seeking an ambitious, goal-oriented individual to join our Global Subscription Sales team. The role involves facilitating new revenue opportunities for our B2B subscription business in the APAC region by identifying new markets and expanding current accounts. You will develop strategic relationships, execute global strategies, and articulate Bloomberg Media's value proposition and product offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy to grow subscriptions in APAC, leading the regional sales team.
  • Generate leads and build relationships within target accounts, nurturing prospects and identifying new opportunities.
  • Discover and close large-scale group subscription deals.
  • Research and understand corporate prospects' objectives.
  • Manage the sales cycle from discovery to closing.
  • Collaborate internally with stakeholders across Bloomberg.
  • Utilize internal systems for tracking leads and results.
  • Report weekly on activity and sales performance.
  • Promote a strong, positive culture within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of enterprise outbound sales experience.
  • Experience with subscription sales in the APAC region.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and prospecting tools such as Lusha, Cognism, ZoomInfo.
  • Experience engaging with clients across multiple regions and leveraging a global network.
  • Proven success in cold calling and building business relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated career growth and development.
Preferred
  • Experience in subscription-based businesses.
