You will be a part of HPB’s Strategic Planning & Collaborations (SPC) Division which drives and guides the Board's direction in ensuring good health of the population by formulating strategies, monitoring strategy execution and establishing strategic collaborations, locally and internationally.

The SPC Division supports the CEO and leadership team in decision-making in areas relating to strategy, organizational performance and accountability to the Board of Directors and Ministry of Health. This includes shaping narratives and communications on the Board’s strategies, driving corporate planning processes, coordination with parent ministry and WOG, and collaborations with international partners to share best practices and benchmark Singapore’s efforts in health promotion and disease prevention.

Job Responsibilities

As a key member of SPC Division, you will (i) develop relationships and coordinate information exchange, engagements and collaborations with HPB’s local and international partners (including MOH, WOG agencies, WHO, overseas health promotion foundations and academia), (ii) support secretariat duties and reporting to management, Board of Directors and MOH and (iii) support Division partners in corporate planning processes .

Specific activities include:

  • Manage relationships and coordinate information exchange and communications with HPB and MOH divisions

  • Manage secretariat duties for key meeting platforms, including curation of agenda, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and smooth administration of meeting proceedings

  • Assess and coordinate engagements to profile HPB’s thought leadership at local and international platforms (such as conferences, training programmes and visits) and staff administrative and logistic preparations

  • Drive and manage study visits to support strategy and business needs

  • Support Divisions in strategy execution, corporate planning, KPI monitoring and reporting processes

Job Requirements

You should also possess:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information quickly

  • Meticulous, thoughtful, eye for details

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels and work effectively both as an individual contributor and in a team setting

  • Comfortable operating in environment with ambiguities, uncertainties and tight deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidates with an academic background in public health, international relations, business, economics, social sciences, or a related field are advantageous.
