What the role is:
The Innovation Office aims to transform and lead next-generation public health and health promotion by collaborating with data and technology companies to develop cutting-edge global-first co-innovations. Projects will involve private and public sector partners using Singapore as a test bed for trialing new products and services in precision public health. Key technologies include health-related wearable and sensor tech, big data analytics, machine learning, behavioural science, genomics, and precision medicine.
This position reports to the Deputy Director of the Innovation Office.
Responsibilities:
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, design, commission, and implement innovative products and programs.
- Drive the execution of assigned products and programs to meet business needs and outcomes, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate activities such as internal consultations, legal, and procurement work to advance products and programs.
- Track and report progress, including budget utilization and implementation timelines.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the product or program lifecycle.
Required skills/experience:
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience as a Product Manager or similar roles with project management expertise.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong analytical, planning, and management skills.
- Strategic understanding of business needs, leveraging data for decision-making to deliver on time and within budget.
- Experience managing tenders, innovation calls, joint partnerships, and project management certifications such as PMI.
- Good understanding of data management and Singapore’s PDPA.
- Experience in healthcare or research fields.
- Proven ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Experience in go-to-market activities like publicity, customer care, and escalation workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to influence and engage internal and external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
