Job description

What the role is:

The Innovation Office aims to transform and lead next-generation public health and health promotion by collaborating with data and technology companies to develop cutting-edge global-first co-innovations. Projects will involve private and public sector partners using Singapore as a test bed for trialing new products and services in precision public health. Key technologies include health-related wearable and sensor tech, big data analytics, machine learning, behavioural science, genomics, and precision medicine.

This position reports to the Deputy Director of the Innovation Office.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, design, commission, and implement innovative products and programs.
  2. Drive the execution of assigned products and programs to meet business needs and outcomes, on time and within budget.
  3. Coordinate activities such as internal consultations, legal, and procurement work to advance products and programs.
  4. Track and report progress, including budget utilization and implementation timelines.
  5. Ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the product or program lifecycle.

Required skills/experience:

  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience as a Product Manager or similar roles with project management expertise.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong analytical, planning, and management skills.
  • Strategic understanding of business needs, leveraging data for decision-making to deliver on time and within budget.
  • Experience managing tenders, innovation calls, joint partnerships, and project management certifications such as PMI.
  • Good understanding of data management and Singapore’s PDPA.
  • Experience in healthcare or research fields.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Experience in go-to-market activities like publicity, customer care, and escalation workflows.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to influence and engage internal and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
