Position Details

We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager to lead our Engineering team in Singapore, overseeing all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and respect.
  2. Overseeing all facilities and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with standards.
  3. Monitoring team and contractor performance through KPIs, audits, and verification processes.
  4. Developing asset strategies, including capital planning and system upgrades.
  5. Representing Engineering on the local leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions.
  6. Collaborating with Operations, Transport, Customer Service, HR, and IT to align engineering solutions with business goals.
  7. Championing safety, ensuring all practices meet safety regulations and standards.
  8. Implementing systems and processes for continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency.
  9. Managing external stakeholders such as tenants and carriers to maintain effective partnerships.
What You'll Bring
  1. A degree or advanced diploma in Engineering or extensive experience in facilities/maintenance within logistics or industrial settings.
  2. Proven leadership experience managing teams and contractors in a high-volume environment.
  3. Deep knowledge of safety, building, and engineering codes, with a hands-on approach to compliance and risk management.
  4. Experience managing projects, budgets, and assets with financial discipline and strategic foresight.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence at all levels.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  1. Experience with hazardous substances or industrial refrigeration systems.
  2. Knowledge of automated storage/retrieval systems, or experience in shipping/logistics.
  3. Familiarity with lean tools, CMMS, and continuous improvement methodologies.
