• Knowledge of electrical cable sizing/voltage drop/VFD/control systems is a plus.

Job description

Our client is a leader in the Water Treatment industry in Singapore. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation systems align with project specifications, budget constraints, and operational requirements.

• Conduct technical reviews and discussions with the teams and stakeholders.

• Oversee E&I engineering deliverables and manage change orders.

• Interpret and apply technical specifications to project execution.

• Coordinate with vendors, review quotations, and manage procurement of E&I components.

• Perform FAT/SAT and troubleshoot equipment issues.

• Prepare instrument data sheets and maintain instrument records.

• Collaborate with other disciplines for seamless E&I integration.

• Handle design, calculations, and bill of materials preparation.

• Support construction, installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering/Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience preferred in Water and Waste Treatment

• Good skills in E&I troubleshooting.

• Experience in project management would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of electrical cable sizing/voltage drop /VFD/control systems is a plus.
