Job description

This position is perfect for a fresh graduate eager to start their career in procurement and supply chain management. As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. We are looking for a quick learner who is solution-oriented, with strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase goods, services, and materials as per company requirements.

  • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.

  • Review and approve Purchase Requisitions in line with procurement policies and procedures.

  • Provide guidance and support to Requestors (e.g. on usage of Procurement platform to raise Purchase Requisitions and perform Goods Receipt)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance and operations

  • Assist in resolving procurement issues and disputes in a timely manner.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management (or willingness to learn).

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Familiarity with ERP or procurement software (preferred but not required).
