Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to create exceptional and detailed architectural application design and provide thought leadership and enable delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests in existing deals
2. Guide the construction and assembly of application components to support solution architecture
3. Maintain frameworks and artifacts used in application implementation
4. Ensure application architecture paradigms like SOA and microservices are followed to achieve agility and scalability
5. Provide solutions for RFPs and ensure design assurance
6. Analyze technology environment and client requirements to create collaboration design frameworks
7. Lead technical design and development of custom solutions using modern technologies
8. Identify improvements and define target state solutions
9. Evaluate and recommend solutions for ecosystem integration
10. Track industry trends and relate them to current and future IT needs
11. Provide strategic inputs during project planning
12. Identify opportunities within existing clients (Account mining)
13. Review solution objectives and constraints with relevant stakeholders
14. Identify risks and impacts of implementation
15. Create APIs to generate new revenue streams
16. Embrace automation, Agile, and DevOps principles to reduce manual efforts

Design and Standardization

1. Design standardized applications and create intellectual property like services, patterns, and models
2. Develop reusable patterns and best practices
3. Set criteria for evaluating system capabilities and technical/business value
4. Provide platforms for standardized tools and techniques to reduce maintenance costs
5. Coordinate risk, cost, and opportunity assessments
6. Develop customized client applications
7. Conduct design and code reviews, ensuring security standards
8. Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems
9. Transform applications into digital forms supporting new technologies like IoT, blockchain, machine learning, automation, and BOTS

Cloud Transformation

Migration

• Understand non-functional requirements
• Produce deployment architecture and interface catalogs
• Identify dependencies and support build/testing teams

Modernization

• Define target architecture in integration space
• Assess project pipeline and align with target architecture
• Provide technical support and guidance to delivery teams

Keep up-to-date with latest market technologies.
