Exhibition Director

Working for an international exhibition organiser with an office in Singapore, this Exhibition Director role is both strategic and operational, working on a high profile show in the region. The individual will provide leadership and vision, relying on best practices to achieve the exceptional results and highest quality, while championing a forward thinking, progressive and highly energized culture.

The Exhibition Director is responsible for all aspects of the event, overseeing strategic and tactical planning, budgeting, P&L and operations management. Working in conjunction with the senior leadership team as well as the events teams in Asia and the UK, the Exhibition Director oversees and manages all registration, sponsor, exhibitor, marketing and event administration for the event, including one-on-one business appointments.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Provide leadership and vision for the event, supporting the development and execution of annual plans and longer-term strategy.
* Support and strategize with the Sales, Marketing, and Events teams, working together synergistically and collaboratively to best achieve goals and the highest standards of quality.
* Collaborate with the Managing Director, EMEA establishing aggressive but achievable growth expectations and communicating forecasts and results against budget in a timely and accurate manner.
* Collaborate with international colleagues, overseeing budget preparation; ensuring that the event operates within budget guidelines.
* Remaining on top of significant trends and developments in the field.
* Maintain and develop a climate which attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse staff of top-quality talent.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a strategic business leader with a focus on business development, management, operational expertise and planning.
* Strong track record in online business development with industry technology experience
* Experience working with executive conference event production combined with high level content is preferable.
* Experience leading and motivating high performing teams
