We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Desktop / Workplace Engineer to oversee the deployment of end-user technologies as part of an office refurbishment project. You will be responsible for managing the setup of desktop / workplace technologies, with seamless transition across multi-phase, user community moves. Scope includes hardware installation, configuration, troubleshooting & UAT.

1. Plan & execute the deployment of desktop systems and peripherals.
2. Collaborate with IT teams & Project Managers to ensure alignment with timelines / objectives.
3. Install, configure and test hardware / software to meet user requirements.
4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployment-related issues.
5. Document deployment processes, ensuring accurate records of installation & configuration.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices for IT deployments.
7. Train and support end-users in the use of new technologies and systems incl. coordinating UAT’s.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in desktop deployment and support, including campus installs across multiple business units.
2. Familiarity with IT infrastructure.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail inc. documentation.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Delivery within multi-national and financial services environment.
