Client Tax Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Securities Regulatory Reporting

Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a Client Tax Regulatory Reporting Analyst (8 months contract) in our Securities Regulatory Services team!

You will work in the Securities Regulatory Reporting team to support the bank in meeting its MAS610, SFA, HKTR, and MiFIR reporting obligations by producing high-quality reports and ensuring timely submissions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily validation of derivatives reports and submit to DTCC (MAS SFA) and HKTR (HKMA) accurately and on time.
  • Validate transactional information for MiFIR reporting daily.
  • Validate the monthly MAS610 turnover report, which is handed over to the Finance department for submission.
  • Monitor the De Minimis Threshold Monitoring Report and flag exceptions as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations and technology teams to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
  • Gather accurate data from various sources and format it appropriately for reporting.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing for regulatory or system changes.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain operational procedures and ensure compliance with control standards.
  • Assist with reporting queries and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Preferably a university degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 1 year of experience in OTC derivatives, particularly in FX, Rate, or Equities.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and committed to quality and timeliness.
  • Experience with Temenos T24 is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of VBA/Python scripting is a plus.
