Associate, Payment Area Business Analyst Lead

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the team as a Subject Matter Expert in the management of Remittance-related IT projects.
  • Participate in project management activities, including resolving user/system issues, managing vendors, resources, and project schedules.
  • Facilitate system function and workflow design.
  • Gather user and business requirements and perform gap analysis.
  • Establish and introduce new work procedures and workarounds.
  • Provide training to local and overseas users.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Conduct studies to analyze system effectiveness.
  • Liaise with end users, vendors, and head office on migration and other project tasks.
  • Assist in preparing system and operation manuals.
  • Prepare reports for management and head office as required.

Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in back-office operations in the remittance area.
  • Experience with the implementation of package systems (Finastra) is advantageous.
  • Experience handling full remittance operations, including inward/outward remittance, drawback remittance, domestic RTGS, giro, and foreign exchange.
  • Experience in collecting business requirements and standardizing workflows across different entities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, precise requirement documentation.
  • At least 1 year of experience creating BRD and FRD documents.
  • Experience in data mapping, cleansing, migration support, and reconciliation.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science or IT.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Team player with leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
  • Knowledge of MS Access or RPA programming is advantageous.

Preferred Certifications and Academic Background:

  • IIBA certifications: ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC.
  • PMI certifications: PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP.
  • BCS certifications: Foundation Certificate, Diploma of Business Analysis.
