Job description

HMT is a global leader in innovative design and construction of above ground fuel storage tanks and emission-reducing equipment.

We are seeking a Technical Advisor/Supervisor based in our Singapore Office in Tuas.

Our main product lines include the supply and installation of Internal Aluminum Roofs, GRP Composite Roofs, Storage Tank Seals, Drain Systems, and Aluminum Geodesic Dome roofs.

• Full clean driver’s license and own transport
• Physically fit
• Exceptional attendance and punctuality

• Strong customer service orientation
• Well presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Ability to travel (fly-in-fly-out) within the APAC region and overseas
• Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Ability to pass a full medical examination
• Ability to pass background checks and ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Key skills we are looking for:

• Trade qualification (preferable)
• Knowledge of WHSE practices and paperwork
• High level of computer literacy (preferable)
• Bizsafe certification (preferable)

• Petrochemical industry experience (favorable but not essential)

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising all site activities, including subcontractors
• Consulting with customer representatives
• Project planning and preparation
• Ensuring project delivery on time and within budget
• Site setup and WHSE meetings
• Site equipment and layout management
• Providing installation training for all HMT product lines (training provided)
• Performing inspections, assessments, and compiling reports with recommendations
• Occupational health and safety management
• Performing various office and field roles as directed
