We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage and maintain our financial records. In this role, you will support our finance team with daily accounting activities, ensuring the smooth flow of financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and manage invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Payroll Support: Assist in processing payroll and ensure all statutory deductions and compliance requirements are met.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Record all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger and maintain financial data.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and reconcile company expenses and report on variances.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Tax Filing: Prepare and assist with tax filings, and other relevant government documentation. Manage statutory payments and claims (CPF, IR21, IR8A, NS claims, government-paid leave, training grants, etc.).
- Cash Flow Management: Track cash flow to ensure the company remains financially healthy.
- Miscellaneous Administrative Tasks: Assist with other finance-related administrative tasks as needed.
- HR Admin: Managing and maintaining accurate employee records and payroll, including overtime, incentives, expense claims, and statutory contributions (CPF, SDL, FWL). Generate HR documents: Employment Contract, Confirmation Letter, etcManage WP, SP, and EP matters: applications, renewals, cancellations, monitoring quota details, and expiry dates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of basic tax laws and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
