Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Assist the Inpatient Operations team in driving three main work streams:

  1. Non-Clinical Workflows
  2. Operations Readiness and Ramp-Up
  3. Pre-Operations (Yishun Campus)

Support Clinical Departments within the Division of Medicine to develop services and processes that ensure safe and efficient patient care.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific

  1. Main Work Streams
Non-Clinical Workflows

Analyze, review, and develop routine inpatient ward non-clinical workflows in areas such as:

  • Patient onboarding and communication
  • Inflight services flows, routes, and schedules for housekeeping, escort, meals, and portering
  • Hospital-wide systems like RTLS, PIB, and other IT projects
Operations Readiness and Ramp-Up

Support development of inpatient wards extraction and migration plans, working with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines. Ensure smooth execution, review design and facilities, coordinate equipment procurement, and support training and rehearsals for campus opening. Assist in licensing activities including IT and financial systems setup.

Pre-Operations (Yishun Campus)

Support planning and operations of pre-operations inpatient wards, including manpower, clinical services, staff deployment, and facilities management. Provide ground operations support, lead improvement projects, and coordinate with Yishun Campus on policy implementation.

GENERAL

Support other WHC-related projects and tasks as directed by the Reporting Officer or Director, Medicine & Community/Inpatient Ops.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education / Training / Experience
  1. University Degree
  2. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in operations or service roles
  3. Healthcare experience is advantageous
