Purpose of the role
To support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and developing solutions that address business problems and opportunities.
Accountabilities
- Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements requiring change within the organization.
- Develop business requirements to address identified problems and opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Support the creation of business cases to justify investments in proposed solutions.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions.
- Assist in creating reports on project progress to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
- Design operational and process solutions to ensure delivery within scope.
- Support change management activities, including developing traceability matrices for successful implementation and embedding of solutions.

Join Barclays' Operations Delivery team to play a key role in market initiatives and regulatory changes, engaging with APAC Ops management to identify capacity opportunities, support system decommissioning, review solutions, and collaborate with Technology to improve processes and reduce operational risks.
Required experience or knowledge includes:
- Experience in 2-3 functions such as Trade Management, Confirmations, Settlement & Delivery, Asset Servicing.
- Knowledge of 2-3 product families like Securities, Listed Futures & Options, or Foreign Exchange.
- Experience in Ops Change: automation opportunities, documentation, testing, and stakeholder communication.
- Preferred skills: Project Management or Agile certification, proficiency in MS Office tools including Excel, Visio, and Project.
