Exciting Opportunity: Customer Projects Manager at JET AVIATION

At Jet Aviation, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Customer Projects Manager to lead and manage impactful projects from start to finish! In this role, you’ll be the main point of contact for our customers, ensuring smooth project execution while balancing customer satisfaction and commercial success.

What You'll Do:

  • Kickstart & Manage Projects: Lead project initiation, budgets, schedules, and quality gates while keeping everything on track.

  • Product Delivery & Paperwork: Ensure the product is delivered on time and manage the necessary paperwork.

  • Communication & Reporting: Regularly update customers and Jet MRO management on the project status, progress, and financials.

  • Project Closure: Safely close projects with all details in order, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the project and collaborate with the Project Specialist (Planner) to review the work scope.

  • Engage with customers to confirm and present project details during the input meeting.

  • Create and manage a GANTT chart for project execution.

  • Handle additional work requests (AWR), raise defects, and track critical parts with SCM.

  • Monitor financial performance, ensure timely invoicing, and keep track of down payments.

  • Coordinate resource assignments and keep everyone in sync from supervisors to P145.

  • Stay on top of regulatory requirements to ensure successful aircraft release to service.

  • Act as the go-to contact for customer inquiries, requests, and disputes, escalating when necessary.

  • Drive continuous improvement, ensuring the smooth completion of each project.

  • Manage all required documentation for the release of aircraft, including job cards, work reports, and logbooks.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent aviation industry experience.

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in aviation with a deep understanding of the industry.

  • Solid technical knowledge in aviation, with the ability to apply it in real-world scenarios.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, adapting to shifting priorities and demands.

  • Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Skilled in managing multiple projects (MTX) simultaneously, with the ability to set priorities and take initiative.

  • Results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to execute tasks independently.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with teams and customers alike.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with international teams and clients.

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with SAP, CMP, and CAMP (bonus points if you’re already using these tools!).

  • Strong customer service orientation, always aiming to exceed client expectations.

  • Solid business and financial acumen, with an understanding of project budgets and financials.

  • Influencing skills and a growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or equivalent, e.g., Prince2) is a must, ensuring your expertise in managing complex projects.
