Job Purpose

Building a powerful digital wealth management platform for accredited investors and seeking a Regional Sales Head to expand its user base in SEA. This role involves onboarding affluent and HNWI clients onto the wealth tech platform and providing tailored financial advice and solutions across all sophisticated products offered.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Client Acquisition & Activation

  • Expand the firm’s business by acquiring new clients through app downloads and sign-ups, and increasing account activity via transactions.
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, maintaining ongoing contact and communication.

(2) Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Proactively advise clients based on their investment goals by aligning sophisticated product offerings with their needs.
  • Facilitate client onboarding and KYC processes digitally to establish their accounts.
  • Demonstrate the firm’s wealth tech platform capabilities to clients across Southeast Asia.
  • Promote platform adoption by educating, advising, and encouraging clients to utilize digital tools.
  • Monitor user activity and collaborate with internal teams (e.g., CIO, client servicing) to deliver personalized wealth management advice aligned with client objectives.

(3) Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all transactions comply with legal standards by staying updated on relevant regulations.
  • Protect the firm’s reputation and values when representing the company externally.
  • Adhere to all regulatory frameworks and internal policies during all activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with strong understanding of wealth management.
  • At least 10 years of experience in retail/consumer banking, focusing on the affluent client segment.
  • Proven track record of building trusted client networks and managing successful AUM growth.
  • Experience with a commission-based compensation structure in addition to fixed salary.

Domain Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the financial services and wealth management industries.
  • Experience with financial needs of mass affluent and HNW clients (1M to 5M in investible assets).
  • Strong interest in financial markets and wealth tech platforms.
  • Insight into investment preferences and frustrations of high net worth segments.
