The NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) leads a university-wide commitment to provide an intellectually stimulating and enriching academic environment for the top students in NTU. The programme adopts a curriculum that supplements core curriculum and general education programme and aims to nurture creative and reflective global citizens who have an understanding of social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues that matter in the world today.

NTU-USP seeks to appoint a Lecturer who demonstrates commitment to, and excellence in, teaching writing and conducting fieldwork to undergraduate students across engineering, sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The ideal candidate should have a background in any field under the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences umbrella, such as Philosophy, History, Literature, Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, Public Policy and Global Affairs, Communication Studies, and Sociology. Experience in teaching writing-intensive and ethics courses, as well as leading students for overseas fieldwork, would be advantageous.

The appointed faculty member will primarily contribute to the NTU-USP, which attracts high-achieving students. The programme is interdisciplinary, designed to complement and connect with NTU's core disciplines, and aims to cultivate creative and reflective global citizens passionate about continuous learning.
