Responsibilities

1. About the team: The Global Payment team at ByteDance provides comprehensive payment solutions including acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, and more to ensure a seamless and secure user experience across products like TikTok, TikTok Shop, and CapCut.
2. AML/CTF Risk Assessment: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of AML/CTF risk assessment methodologies; oversee risk assessments across products, services, and regions; present findings to senior management; ensure frameworks stay current with evolving risks and regulations.
3. Global Payments Compliance AML Governance Program and Training: Develop compliance dashboards; analyze trends; deliver tailored AML training programs; track training effectiveness; collaborate with subject matter experts for diverse training modalities; maintain records and reports.
4. Leadership and Oversight: Provide guidance to the compliance team; build relationships with stakeholders; monitor industry trends; contribute to policy development; support audits and investigations; report compliance activities to leadership.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Qualifications: Deep knowledge of AML/CTF laws and standards; experience in risk assessment and training development; understanding of global payment systems; strong communication and leadership skills.
2. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher; 5+ years in financial crimes compliance; experience with AML technology; familiarity with regulatory expectations; interaction with regulatory agencies.
