Job description

To plan, organize, and control air operation activities, ensuring proper control and compliance during all stages, including input, movement, processing/sorting, and output of air operation documents. The goal is to meet high service quality requirements at minimal cost.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate shipment pre-alerts with the origin office;
  2. Communicate with carriers regarding shipment arrivals;
  3. Keep customers updated on their shipment status;
  4. Declare customs permits (preferred);
  5. Liaise with customers to arrange deliveries;
  6. Update key milestones in the operations system promptly and accurately;
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Specifications for Successful Performance

Academic:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level and above

Experience & Knowledge:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in customer service/operations within the freight forwarding industry;
  • Extensive experience and strong understanding of local compliance requirements;
  • Knowledge of operational requirements from customers, agents, and sister offices, including financial processes;
  • Familiarity with workflows of airlines, cargo terminals, cross-border trucking services, and co-loaders;
  • Basic accounting knowledge;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications;
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin, and local languages to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
