Job description:
Position Overview

CHCS (Community Hospital Common System) is an integrated IT system developed for the VWO CHs (Volunteer Welfare Organization, Community Hospitals). It includes modules such as Patient Management, Patient Accounting, Financial Accounting and Controlling, as well as Materials Management. The system is integrated with various other systems like Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Radiology systems.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Participate in various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Conduct user requirement analysis for new system development, implementation, and enhancements.
  • Evaluate potential solutions and recommend options to resolve business problems.
  • Participate in system integration testing before deployment.
  • Plan and coordinate end-user training for system implementations or updates.
  • Maintain close communication with business users to understand their needs and build good rapport.
  • Collaborate with vendors during project implementation, application testing, and support for patches and upgrades, following project methodologies and policies.
  • Assist in defining project requirements, tracking progress, and documentation.
  • Provide primary application support on a 24/7 basis when necessary.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project coordination, user and vendor management.
  • Experience supporting applications in a Windows environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
