Job Summary:

Working Days: 5 days

Location: West Region

Role Type: Permanent

Job Descriptions:
  • Attend user engagement workshops to provide subject matter input throughout the hospital design planning process, aiming to optimize patient journeys and enhance patient experience.
  • Lead discussions for road-mapping Tengah Hospital development, including clinical service planning, infrastructure development, and resourcing planning.
  • Collaborate with consultants, medical planners, and internal stakeholders to develop service flow design and planning parameters aligned with the project's strategic goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and coordinate meetings with stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop methodologies, technologies, and assumptions for projects.
  • Develop end-user briefs, operational requirements, guidelines, and work processes. Organize workshops to gather user requirements and test new models virtually and with physical prototypes.
  • Prepare business cases to seek approval for infrastructure growth and funding.
  • Track, monitor, and update management on various work streams and planning areas, escalating concerns promptly.
  • Prepare periodic reports to update the Tengah Hospital Committee on project progress.
  • Organize and lead activities related to the development of Tengah General and Community Hospital.
  • Implement operational models in line with hospital service development, ensuring alignment with budget and guidelines.
  • Coordinate meetings, book venues, prepare agendas and minutes, arrange catering if needed, and maintain filing systems.
  • Raise procurement and payment requests as required.
  • Perform any other projects or tasks assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare operations; more experience may be considered for senior roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop strong working relationships at various levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multitask and work under stress.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
