A leading company in leisure and entertainment is seeking an Event Planner to conceptualise and manage events at Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Leisure Events Management or Business Administration, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include event development, budget management, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance guest experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
Conceptualise and develop events and programming that is aligned to the overall event strategy plan.
Manage the content development of Attractions events, programs or any ongoing activities to ensure continuous offerings are available in order to contribute to business targets of Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
Work closely with external/internal partners in the conceptualisation, planning and execution of programming and events in Universal Studios Singapore and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
Collaborate with Yield team to analyse and constantly review content, pricing, benefits and promotions in line with overall strategy and market development.
Establish, track and report on all key performance indicators such as but not limited to attendance, guests’ feedback, and revenue per cap, on an accurate and timely basis.
Manage and monitor the event/program budget for the assigned events/campaigns.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Leisure Events Management, Business Administration or any other relevant discipline.
1-2 years of Events Planning and/or relevant experience.
Proven experience in content development, event conceptualisation, project planning and budget management.
Good organisational and time management skills with ability to multi-task, priortise and follow timeline.
Innovate and adaptive to changing environments and excellent team player.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with collaborative mindset.
This role is process heavy that requires prompt follow-up on organisational procedures (i.e Finance, procurement, etc) and attention to details for contractual matters.
Proficient in MS Office – word, excel and powerpoint.
Added advantage if experience in leisure events and placemaking strategy.
