Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the finances of a portfolio of vessels, including arranging cash to Master, payments to suppliers, and crew wages.
2. Prepare monthly Vessel Owner's Management Accounts.
3. Prepare monthly Technical Management OPEX Reports and conduct Variance Analysis.
4. Monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable for owned and technically managed vessels.
5. Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and prepare draft audited accounts.
6. Prepare and review tax computations.
7. Assist in preparing monthly Cash Flow and Profit & Loss Forecasts.
8. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
9. Review and authorize payments to suppliers.
10. Assist in enhancing the systems of the BWEK Group.
11. Monitor cash float utilization by the 3rd Party Technical Manager.
12. Prepare and review OPEX reports by the 3rd Party Technical Manager to ensure OPEX is within budget and report deviations to the Ship Manager.
13. Prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings.
14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent disciplines, preferably with 4-5 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations.
• Meticulous with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants should be Singaporean.
