About the Client:

Our client is a pioneering force in the new energy space, driving the global transition to sustainable energy solutions. With a commitment to cutting-edge technology, product excellence, and international market expansion, the company is poised to transform the energy storage landscape. As they scale operations across Asia and beyond, they are now seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a long-term strategic roadmap to establish a dominant position in the global new energy battery market.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on business opportunities across Asia, in particular Singapore, China, Japan and other SEA countries.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead cross-functional operations including R&D, manufacturing, commercial, and strategic partnerships to drive performance and scalability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and industry partners.
  • Growth Acceleration: Spearhead business development and partnership initiatives to penetrate new regions and sectors.
  • Culture Building: Foster a high-performing, innovation-driven culture across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 15 years of senior leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a CEO or equivalent capacity. Background in energy sectors is essential. Demonstrated success in scaling operations and leading market expansion initiatives across Asia or globally. Agility to lead a start-up.
  • Skills: Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen. Proven ability to lead cross-border teams and drive results. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
