Job description

What the role is:

Research Executive (Full Stack Development with AI Integration) / School of Information & IT

What you will be working on:

• Develop both front-end and back-end applications for web and mobile platforms.
• Build interactive, responsive UIs using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Design server-side logic, APIs, and database interactions using Node.js, Express, or similar technologies.
• Develop and consume RESTful or GraphQL APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Design schemas and manage data using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3).
• Use Git for version control and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate AI/ML models and Generative AI models into web or mobile applications.
• Follow secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and OWASP compliance.
• Debug issues across the entire full stack.

What we are looking for:

• 2-3 years of experience in web application development.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Knowledge of Generative AI models or AI/ML models.
• Proficiency with cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
