Job description

Overview:

AWESOME (Adolescent Wellness Service - Options Made Easy) is part of the Child and Maternal Health and Well-being (CAMH) Strategy, aiming to improve health outcomes for children and support youth development. The programme's objectives are to:

  1. Implement a community adolescent health initiative providing preventive health screenings for adolescents and their families.

  2. Leverage existing youth support services offered by youth workers and healthcare professionals.

  3. Enhance resources on adolescent health to increase health literacy and awareness.

Primary Responsibilities (AWESOME Programme):

  1. Support the development of family and child health strategies for the western cluster.

  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective interventions to improve family and child health in the western cluster.

  3. Manage programme operations and administration, including secretariat support, funding management, recruitment, communications, and workflow setup.

  4. Develop evaluation strategies and engage in continuous improvement to enhance programme delivery.

  5. Integrate and streamline programmes into the overall Child and Maternal Health strategy.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide cross-coverage for NUWoC Community Operations team.

  2. Support NUWoC and NUH related events.

  3. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, public health, or healthcare-related disciplines.

  2. At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare settings or in sector development and programme management.

  3. Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

  4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and change management skills for stakeholder and staff engagement.

  5. Ability to work independently in daily operations and collaboratively in team settings.

  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and databases such as Tableau.
