Job description

Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage two full sets of company accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of AR, AP, and GL transactions.
  • Handle monthly Giro and ad-hoc payments, prepare quarterly GST submissions promptly, and manage the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial and management reports.
  • Handle monthly expenses claim verification & processing.
  • Preparation of accounting schedules, reconciliation of accounts, management & cash flow reports.
  • Assist in formulating accounting policies and strategies, financial and management accounting, costing, taxation and all finance-related matters.
  • Ensure all payments and receipts are properly authorized and recorded.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts balances with related companies.
  • Responsible for monthly account reconciliations.
  • Maintain the fixed asset sub ledger.
  • Statutory reporting – liaise with external auditors, corporate secretarial agents and tax agents and assist on taxation queries and audit schedules and preparation.
  • Check and verified PO raised by Property Management Department.
  • Provide support to the Assistant Finance Manager & Finance Manager in timely reporting to Management.
  • Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Requirements:

  • Minimum LCCI, Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in related field.
  • Able to handle full sets of accounts and prepare management reports.
  • A good team player who possesses drive, initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, well-organised and meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Competent in MS Office, Google Workspace, ABSS/MYOB Accounting Software.
  • Able to start work immediately or at short notice.
