Job description

Role Overview:
The Manager will support the National Jobs Skills Development Office (NJSDO) with data procurement, documentation, and the development of the national Jobs Skills Portal. They will also handle customer inquiries, support the transformation of the national Skills Framework, and assist with business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Manage inquiries and appeals with a customer-focused approach.
  2. Data Procurement & Administration:

    • Handle procurement activities and administrative tasks efficiently.
  3. Data Governance & Documentation:

    • Organize and update internal data policies, ensuring stakeholder understanding and compliance.
    • Maintain and update data catalogues, dictionaries, and related documents for easy access.
    • Create user guides for stakeholders to navigate the data catalogue.
  4. Business & User Analysis:

    • Gather and analyze business requirements for the Jobs-Skills Portal.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features and system enhancements.
    • Develop user stories, process flows, and reports to support portal development.
    • Analyze user behavior and trends through data analysis.
  5. Support Skills Framework Transformation:

    • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates.
    • Assist in WSQ Full Qualification processing and business process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders and in teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in casework and supporting IT/data projects like UATs and Change Requests.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
