Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, and GST reporting. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in ERP software and multi-currency handling is essential. Job description

Accounts Executive

  • 5 days, 8.30am- 5.50pm

  • Salary: $3700- $4200 (depends experience)

  • Location: Bedok

  • Reports to Group Finance Manager


Job scope:

  • Full set of accounts: Manage and prepare the complete set of accounts for the holding company and its investment holding subsidiaries including:

  • General Ledger

  • Accounts Payable:

  1. Match and post purchase invoices and payments includes reconciliation

  2. Liaise with vendors and relevant departments to resolve invoice discrepancies

  3. Prepare Accounts Payable schedules

  • Accounts Receivable:

  1. Issue invoices and debit notes, record AR receipts

  2. Follow up with clients on collections

  3. Prepare Accounts Receivable schedules

  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations between intercompany accounts.

  • Financial Statements schedules: Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss schedules.

  • Petty Cash: Manage petty cash transactions.

  • GST Reporting: Handle GST reporting.

  • Year-End Audit: Prepare year-end audit reports.

  • Tax reporting: Provide support in addressing tax-related inquiries.

  • Government Surveys: Attend to and prepare Government Statistics surveys.

  • Cash Flow Forecast: Prepare a 12-week cash flow forecast for the holding company.

  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional duties as required.


Requirements:

  • Min Diploma/Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

  • Candidates must have experience handling multi-currencies and accounting for exchange conversions.

  • Proficiency in common ERP software and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office.
