Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to expand the firm's portfolio, targeting new sectors and geographies.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform business strategies.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations to secure new projects.
- Brand Positioning: Enhance the firm's reputation through networking, thought leadership, and participation in industry events.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance related to business development activities.
Educational Background
- A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, M.Arch) or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, RIBA, or marketing-related credentials) can be a plus.
Professional Experience
- 8-10+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the architecture, design, construction, or real estate sectors.
- Proven track record in winning large-scale projects and managing client portfolios.
- Prior leadership or senior managerial experience is typically expected.

- Strong industry knowledge: Familiarity with architecture, design trends, and real estate development in Singapore and the region.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute business plans and market entry strategies.
- Sales acumen: Skilled in identifying opportunities, pitching services, and closing deals.

- Project coordination: Experience managing bids, proposals, and tender submissions in collaboration with design teams.
