Job description

Project Officer (Communications and Engagement) - Climate Transformation Programme

The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) is seeking a Project Officer to join the Climate Transformation Programme (CTP). This role is based at EOS, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

The CTP aims to develop knowledge-based solutions for climate and environmental challenges, fostering education and leadership for resilient, sustainable Southeast Asian societies. It spans disciplines such as climate science, ecology, AI, social sciences, and engineering, translating scientific research into real-world applications for Singapore, Southeast Asia, and beyond.

The Project Officer will work within the EOS Community Engagement office to promote the programme and collaborate with research teams. Responsibilities include creating engaging content about CTP’s research, communicating findings to various stakeholders, developing engagement activities to educate and inspire action on climate change, and collecting data to evaluate these activities.

This position is vital for building trust with stakeholders and ensuring that the climate solutions benefit diverse communities.
