What the role is:

EXECUTIVE ENGINEER / ASSISTANT / DEPUTY / MANAGER, DIGITAL

What you will be working on:

As part of the Infrastructure Information Development & Digitalisation Division, which drives LTA’s strategic initiative to become a digital organisation through the digitalization of all infrastructure development projects. This division develops strategies and programmes to promote digital transformation within the infrastructure industry by adopting BIM processes and working within a digital environment.

You will be involved in implementing a comprehensive data eco-system supporting infrastructure digitalisation, including handling Confidential Cloud-eligible classifications and Restricted data. Ensuring the digital environment supports digital engineering project delivery and complies with ISO 19650 information management standards is essential. You will oversee the development, governance, and administration of data standards, including project information integration with GIS.

Core responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with internal teams to identify BIM requirements for various projects and align them with LTA’s digitalisation strategy.
2. Plan and execute engagement strategies to promote BIM and digitalisation efforts within the organisation and industry, including change management initiatives.
3. Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and applications that could enhance project delivery productivity and manpower efficiency.
4. Lead or facilitate prototype studies on new technology implementations through prototyping or Proof of Concept activities.
5. Participate in process re-engineering to develop, review, and maintain digital processes leveraging LTA’s InSIGHT platform to improve project and information management.
6. Provide administrative support for the division.

What we are looking for:

• Knowledge in relevant engineering disciplines such as Civil & Structure, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• Preferably, certification in Digital Delivery Management (DDM).
• At least 3-5 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or technology-related industries.
• Experience with Digital Engineering processes (e.g., VDC) and knowledge in infrastructure project delivery.
• Familiarity with BIM practices, standards, ISO 19650, IFC4.X, Uniclass, and COBie.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and writing skills.
• Adaptable team player capable of working independently and multitasking in a fast-paced environment; self-motivated for excellence.
• Trained facilitator experience would be advantageous.
