Project Engineers – Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation (EPC - Chemical Plant)

Location: Jurong Island
Full-Time | Permanent | Overseas Assignment Available

We are seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our team in leading EPC projects for a new chemical process plant. If you're a driven individual with a strong background in either Mechanical or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) engineering, this is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic and impactful journey — from detailed design to commissioning.

1. Mechanical Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage mechanical engineering scope from detailed design to commissioning

  • Oversee site activities, safety, and contractor coordination

  • Review engineering specs, drawings, and ensure project compliance

  • Investigate variations and support resolution

  • Conduct inspections and resolve technical issues during construction

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

  • Min. 5 years’ project experience in EPC for chemical plants

  • Strong knowledge in ASME, API, TEMA, and relevant codes

  • Proficient in MS Project, Power BI, Excel, etc.

  • Willing to travel or relocate overseas for long-term assignments

2. Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage E&I systems including DCS, PLC, control panels, and field instruments

  • Lead site installation, FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting

  • Review and approve E&I specs, drawings, and vendor submissions

  • Coordinate with cross-discipline teams and ensure project milestones

  • Resolve technical issues and drive system integration

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

  • Min. 5 years’ experience in E&I project work in EPC for chemical plants

  • Familiarity with DCS (Yokogawa), PLCs (Siemens, AB, Mitsubishi)

  • Strong knowledge in NEC and local/international E&I codes

  • Willing to travel or relocate overseas for long-term assignments
