A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced HR & Admin Manager to oversee HR functions and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations and talent acquisition, fostering a positive work environment while managing conflicts and compliance.
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to oversee the full scope of human resources and admin functions at our manufacturing plant in Joo Koon. The HR & Admin Manager is to report to the Managing Director and functionally report to the VP, Human Resources. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in employee relations, industrial relations, talent acquisition and performance management with a focus on creating a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the development and execution of HR and office administration strategies aligned with company’s objectives
Lead HR initiatives to support productivity, employee engagement and retention
Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, managing conflicts and maintaining effective communication between employee and management
Manage and resolve industrial relations issues, including union negotiations, disputes and grievances
Ensure compliance with local employment laws, WSH regulations and collective agreements
Lead recruitment efforts to support operation in workforce planning, attract top talent for production and administrative roles
Develop and execute employee onboarding, training and development programs
Manage performance appraisal systems and employee career development
Collaborate with the WSH committee to ensure the company meets all workplace health and safety standards
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a manufacturing sector
Strong knowledge of local employment laws, employment standards and WSH regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in payroll software and MS Office
Experience in handling industrial relations matters, including union negotiations and conflict resolution is a plus
