Job description:

Responsibilities:

1. Provide Leadership to the Electrical engineering team to comply with project requirements and to meet project schedules.
2. Lead and prepare overall concept.
3. Lead, prepare, & review Request for Quotations (RFQs) and specifications. Lead EPC tender as the lead for Electrical.
4. Review technical proposals from OEMs to ensure compliance to our design requirement.
5. Plan & Manage the Electrical Master document List.
6. Plan & Manage manpower loading.
7. Review cable routing, BOQ, lead engineers and drafters.

Able to understand and manage the following:

1. Subcontractor's submission of 66kV, 6.6kV & LV power supply system including; Power Generation System, transformer, UPS & DC systems.
2. Electrical Single Line drawings.
3. Power system Analysis by ETAP.
4. Protection coordination.
5. Cable Size calculation.
6. HV, MV and LV motor starter system.
7. UPS & DC system.
8. Solar generation system.
9. Power Management System.
10. Plan & coordinate Electrical Room layout.
11. Plan & coordinate Cable tray and Busduct.

Familiar with the following Equipment and System:

1. Generators.
2. Circuit breakers.
3. Transformers.
4. VSDs.
5. Busducts.
6. Civil interface for switchboard installation, pull pit and penetration.

Requirements:

1. At least 10 years of relevant experience as Leader or Senior Electrical Engineer in EPC projects.
2. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
3. Leadership & people management skills.
4. Familiar with industrial standard, e.g, ISO, IEEE, etc. and Singapore standard, e.g SS638.
5. Familiar with statutory Regulation or Code, like Singapore transmission code.
6. Able to work in collaboration with various disciplines.
7. Able to interface seamlessly with engineering, construction, and operations contractors.
8. Able to work on-site in construction environment.
