As the Assistant Manager, Information System, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Manager, Information System to plan, direct, and support the overall information systems and cybersecurity initiatives. This full-time position, based in the Bedok East Region, involves managing and executing IT projects and providing technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the company's information systems. This position shall spearhead the establishment of cybersecurity systems for our local and regional facilities.
What you'll be doing
Developing and overseeing the cybersecurity measures for the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, plan, and execute IT projects that align with the company's strategic goals.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new information systems and technologies.
Manage and coordinate the activities of IT teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects and adherence to budgets and deadlines.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to the company's information systems.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Recommend upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-based investments for the organization.
Assist in managing the team and evaluating their performance.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage expectations.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements, and end-user computing.
Experience with conducting security risk assessments and incident management.
Proficiency in maintaining and managing Microsoft technologies - Office 365, Active Directory (ADFS, DHCP, CA, DNS, RMS), Exchange Service (O365).
Good working knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit log review), technical vulnerability management (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response, and security assessment.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects.
