Manager/Senior Manager, Logistics Sales and Business Development
Job Description:

Our client is an international freight and shipping company. They are currently looking for a Logistics Sales and Business Development to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

  1. New client sales, relationship building and management.
  2. Agent relationship building and upkeep.
  3. Handle high level client queries.
  4. Learn and sell company's full list of client solutions.
  5. Understand and build trade lanes between our international offices (SE Asia to Europe, Africa, USA etc).
  6. Statistical understanding and reporting of volumes and trade lanes.
  7. Business development strategies and analysis for staying ahead in today's market as well as new growth avenues.
  8. Mentor new team members.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 6-12 years experience in Logistics Sales, new client leads, cold calling, etc.
  2. Knowledge of Imports / Exports / General Logistics / Warehousing / Customs / Rate Understanding.
  3. Seafreight and Airfreight knowledge (Importing and Exporting), Consolidations, Negotiations.
  4. Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word / Excel / Microsoft Outlook.
