A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Logistics and Store Management professional to oversee warehousing functions. Responsibilities include handling materials, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with quality policies. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience and a NITEC qualification.
To perform warehousing and logistics functions to all sections in the organisation so that they can
execute their tasks to meet departmental objectives.
Your Role:
Handling of Physical Materials and SAP Administration
Ensure all incoming materials are received according to the Quality Policies:
Check that all delivery orders have indicated the purchase order number
Conduct general inspection of the materials delivered
Verify quantity received against the delivery order
Endorse on the delivery order and move the materials into the receiving zone
Complete GR in SAP to initial joint inspection with the users
Conduct joint inspection with the users
Tag and label of the materials
Move the materials into the storage place
Ensure that all outgoing materials are issued according to the Quality Policies:
Ensure that all outgoing materials are issued based on the signed stock reservation voucher form
Retrieve requested material from the store
Verify quantity issued against the stock reservation voucher form
Verify the materials with the user
Release the material to the user
Update the information in SAP
Performing of Cycle Count
Ensure completion of monthly cycle count assigned by Manager and timely updates in SAP:
Conduct monthly cycle count duties assigned by Manager
Conduct blind count of material
Update blind count onto count sheets
Update the quantity counted in SAP
Report variance found (if any) to Manager
Conduct variance checks if necessary
Maintaining of good housekeeping in the store
Ensure all the Store’s area and storage are upkeep, clean and tidy, all walkways are free from clutter:
Perform daily area cleaning duties along with assigned sub-contractor
Conduct monthly walkthrough with Manager and Head of Section
Conduct weekly checks on material handling equipment in the store (e.g. Very Narrow Aisle Truck, Forklift, and Reach Truck)
Conduct weekly check on all material handling equipment
Complete the housekeeping checklist
Report to Manager on any damages observed on the material handling equipment
Compliance to regulations and audit
Correctly use the material handling equipment such as forklift
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
Handle all materials safely and according to the procedures
Ensure that the quantity of materials stated in SAP and physically are tally for audit purpose
Your Profile
Minimum NITEC or higher NITEC in Logistic / Store Management
At least 2-5 years of working experiences with 1 year relevant experience in logistics and store management
Possesses Forklift License
Experience in SAP preferred
Responsible, trustworthy and good team player
