Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying. Prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders. Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally. Gather materials and assemble information packages like brochures and promotional materials. Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information related to commissions, leads, and third parties in sales software. Answer guest questions regarding property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, and events. Serve as the primary contact for clients, communicating via phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and thank them sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review documents accurately; answer phones courteously. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Comply with quality assurance standards. Perform physical tasks such as moving and lifting objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
