Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, supplier relationships, and purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience, particularly in the construction sector, and possess strong negotiation and analytical skills. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, achieving cost-saving targets, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years procurement experience, preferably in construction.
  • Strong sourcing and negotiation skills.

Job description

Job Descriptions:

· Responsible for all aspects of procurement (including sourcing, cost comparison, supplier selection, negotiation with suppliers, ordering & follow-up delivery schedule)

· Work with operations and project teams

· Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing

· Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers

· Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options

· Participate in negotiations for the best deal for pricing and supply contracts

· Create and maintain an inventory of all incoming and current supplies

· Maintain & meet ISO requirements for the purchasing department.

. Liaising with suppliers for sourcing, quotations, finalise the price list, and issuing of PO.

· Invoice administration - assessment/settlement of invoices and scrutinise and verify incoming Invoices that the details are in accordance with the purchase order and delivery order.

· Manage approved vendors and ensure that suppliers database is well-maintained and up to date.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

· At least 2 years procurement experience, added advantage in construction sector

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Analytical, organisational, and communication skills

· Team player, meticulous, details-oriented

· Strong sourcing and negotiation skills

· Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently

· To achieve/meet cost-saving target
