Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure all M&E works are performed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all necessary standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
2. Liaise with authorities, consultants, and other relevant parties for technical submittals and approvals.
3. Inspect M&E works and ensure quality control on site.
4. Supervise and coordinate M&E works at the project site.
5. Prepare drawings, schedule works, requisition materials, control costs, minimize wastage, and maintain documentation.
6. Attend site technical, coordination, and safety meetings.
7. Manage M&E tender processes, including take-offs and costing.
8. Review project specifications and technical clarifications.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board of Singapore and accepted universities within the BCA listing.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the local construction industry.
• Self-motivated, independent, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficient in M&E AutoCAD.
• Understanding of main contract and subcontract requirements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and colleagues.
