Job description

Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Ensure efficient Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Tunnel design in accordance with Design Criteria and relevant standards.
2. Ensure efficient Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Viaduct design in accordance with Design Criteria and relevant standards.
3. Liaise with internal and external parties on all Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Tunnel design matters, and advise the NSC’s PRPM/SPM/PM regularly.
4. Liaise with internal and external parties on all Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Viaduct design matters, and advise the NSC’s PRPM/SPM/PM regularly.
5. Coordinate the review of Contractor’s Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, and Tunnel submissions, assisting the NSC’s SPM/PM in providing timely responses.
6. Identify and resolve potential design-related issues during the construction phase.
7. Perform additional duties as required by the Authority’s Project Management Team, including attending technical meetings, preparing minutes, and providing technical support in evaluating Contractor’s claims.
8. Ensure the translation of design intent to construction on site through accurate drawings and specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Minimum Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years of relevant design management/coordination experience on projects similar to the Works in the civil contract, including geotechnical works for deep excavation foundations for tunnels and/or viaduct/flyover projects.
3. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered for senior roles.
