Key Responsibilities:
  • The Analyst, Application Developer performs analysis, rectification, and development for application components and is accountable for the maintenance, quality of code, and compliance with standards within the platform. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analysis, development, and implementation of applications using React.js, Microservices (Java), and automated unit testing of the deliverables.

  • Aligning with digital/platform strategy, standards, and governance for a business unit, project, or platform.

  • Implementing technical specifications in accordance with the digital/platform strategy, including service fundamentals, security, and system performance.

  • Driving continuous improvement through technical and process innovation to optimize customer delivery and leverage business benefits.

Key Decisions within the Role:
  • Prioritization of tasks and escalation decisions are at the discretion of the individual based on the situation.

Team:
  • Work within a team of 5 engineers, collaborating with other squad teams as needed.

Requirements:
Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with React.js

  • Experience with Rest API services is a plus

  • Experience with Java frameworks such as J2EE EJB, Spring, Microservices is a plus

  • Experience with microservices frameworks and containers is a plus

  • Experience with AWS Cloud is a plus

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus

Capabilities:
  • Ability to quickly learn new applications.

  • Experience in application development and support.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (preferred).
