Job description

  • Adecco is partnering with an Renowed Fintech Co., we are looking for a seasoned finance professional with a strong group financial reporting and U.S. IPOs background to join the global team.
  • As the Finance Director of the Group Reporting team, this pivotal role oversees global group reporting matters and serves as the subject matter expert to business partner with stakeholders on U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Responsible for group financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial consolidation and reporting for all overseas business units.
  • Ensure all group financial statements and reports fully comply with US GAAP, SEC requirements, IFRS, and SFRS standards.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of the group consolidation package, ensuring all financial data is accurate and discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including local country finance teams and the regional accounting team, to ensure seamless financial operations and reporting.
  • Handle special projects such as IPO, valuations, internal control reviews, mergers and acquisitions, implementation of new accounting standards, system rollouts, and other related initiatives
  • Address audit queries and provide necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

The Talent

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CA qualification is an advantage.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in finance, global group reporting, and consolidation, with a background in Big Four audit firms.
  • Proven track record in leading U.S. IPO processes and strong familiarity with U.S. GAAP.
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and collaborates effectively with stakeholders across regions.
