Regulatory Reporting

- Timely submission and accuracy of MAS regulatory reports.
- Prepare MAS regulatory reports and ensure they are submitted within the required time frame.
- Ensure reports comply with MAS requirements.
- Monitor the bank’s ratios, including but not limited to LCR, MCB, AMR, DI, etc., and ensure they meet MAS requirements.
- Review and understand MAS regulations regarding report definitions and contexts to ensure compliance. Interpret and analyze the impact of new or revised MAS notices or regulations.
- Liaise with other departments on reporting and data quality issues, and suggest system or process enhancements and additional internal controls to improve data quality.
- Coordinate with other departments to provide regulatory compliance information and guidance.
- Assist in liaising with external auditors to meet statutory requirements.
- Assist in planning, developing, and implementing accounting processes under International Accounting Standards, Head Office Accounting Guidelines, statutory requirements, internal accounting policies, and work procedures.
- Participate in various ad hoc projects and requests from MAS, Head Office, management, and other departments.
Requirements
- A recognized university degree, preferably in accounting, finance, analytics, statistics, mathematics, IT, or programming-related fields.
- More than 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking and financial services, with experience in accounting and regulatory reporting.
- Self-driven, team player, with good coordination and IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage, as understanding Chinese documents from Head Office may be required.
